 Steve B. led a walk from Wildboarclough to Shining Tor then to Macclesfield forest then to Shutlingsloe return. 9 miles, 8 members, 1 prospect & 2 dogs enjoyed a clear mild sometimes windy day.

John H. hosted SWOGs monthly visit to Stockport Market Place meeting at 20.00hrs in the glass house to listen to the band then at 21.00hrs at the Petersgate Tap.

Keswick W/E 13 to 15/10/2023

 Harvey & Helen B. organised a weekend staying at Keswick Y.H.A. + 3 members & dog joined by staying elsewhere.Friday we walked from Keswick up Lantrigg, some ate in others out. Saturday some did Coledale round others did Dollywagon then lake walk. Saturday night some ate at the Pheasant at Crossthwaite. Sunday High seat and Bleasdale .

Route undulating. 10.30 am start. SW. Slancote lane, S. Limestone way, Millers dale, Priestcliffe, Taddington,  E. Brushfield, Monsal Head, NW. Monsal Trail, Litton Mill, NW Tideswell Dale return. 11 miles. 15 members, 1 prospect, 1 dog enjoyed a warm sunny day. After the walk some enjoyed a drink outside the Horse & Jockey Tdeswell.
