Pam wrote:-  Route - Whaley Bridge CP, Taxal via Memorial Park, River Goyt woodland path following the Peak District Boundary Walk route, Fernilee, Overhill Farm, Wythen Lache, Ladder Hill (track and field paths), Elnor Lane, Shallcross Incline, Whaley Bridge. 28 walkers mostly SWOG and a few Meet up prospects.

 At Hazel Grove Civic Hall 20.00hrs 24/11/2021. Two chaps from the Daniel Adamson Steam Tug (The Danny) society gave a talk with computer photo projector about the Manchester Ship canal,  history and the restoration of the Danny. They run cruise days along the river weaver.

 Chris and Janet H. led a walk from Mam Tor,  E. to Hollins Cross, S. to Castleton (the short distance group left us here)  S. to Cave dale W. then N. return.  21 members and 3 meet up prospects enjoyed a cold clear windy day . 7 miles.
