Route = Hartley street, E. through Country Park, N. Walkerwood Reservoir dam. E. then NE. Brushes, 2 Swineshaw Reservoirs. NW. over moor, N. follow (PBW) Pennine Bridle Way 2.5 miles to L. turn. NW. Roaches. S. Tame Valley Way then S. Huddersfield narrow canal. Through the 188M long dark Scout canal tunnel after 1 mile L. turn SE. at Millbrook road bridge Grove road return.
