At 19.30hrs 29/06/2022 Harvey and Helen B. led a Wednesday evening walk from the March Hare pub Cheadle E. along the Ladybrook stream through Bramhall Park to the Ladybrook valley then turning W. through Bramhall Park again and back trails return. A warm evening 4 very flat miles. 22 members 5 prospects. Some went into the March Hare pub afterwards.

Walk Higher Poynton 22/06/2022
Peter H. led a walk from Nelson Pit car park E. to Hilltop Farm N. to Macclesfield Canal E. Princes Incline S. Hockley SE. Middlewood way, N on the Middlewood way return. Some went in the Boars head pub afterwards. 17 members and 1 prospect enjoyed a very warm sunny evening.

Walk Werneth 15/06/2022
Les H led a Wednesday evening walk around a 3 - 3.5 mile circuit of Werneth Low, starting from in front of the well on Wych Fold, close to the Grapes Hotel SK14 5RU at 7.30pm. It was quite a climb for most of the first mile, then becoming a scenic circuit of the Low finally descending back to Gee Cross. Some took refreshments after the walk at the Grapes.

Hevellyn Weekend 10 to 12/06/2022
Chris S. organised a weekend away at Bury Jubilee OPC Hostel at Greenside Road Glenridding. On Friday 10th some met and did various walks, Friday evening most ate and drank at the Hostel. Saturday most did a walk to Sticks pass and then up to Helvellyn summit return. Saturday evening some ate and drank at the Travellers Rest at Glenridding. Sunday most did a walk over Place Fell. 12 members enjoyed a very windy weekend with some sunshine and showers.

Chris wrote:- Thursdays walk will start from High Lane park going up the Macclesfield canal to Poynton marina. We will go up to Lyme park entering by four winds going round the back of Lyme park to Paddock cottage. From there we will go through the woods to The Lantern before dropping down to Lyme cage. From the Cage we will return via Ryles wood back onto the canal. The walk is 8.5 miles long with extensive views.

Adele wrote:- This Wednesdays walk will start from The Fiveways, Hazel Grove. We will walk up Mill Lane, cross the A555 and into Norbury Hollow Woods and walk up to Parkgate Farm. We will then walk across fields up to Middlewood and over to Higher Poynton, passing Anson Museum. We will return to Hazel Grove passing Davenport Golf Club and Towers Farm. About 4 miles in length.
