A sunny day on the cloud
This Thursday, ten group members enjoyed a sunny walk led by Sue and Nigel. The walk started at Timbersbrook near Congleton and climbed to the top of Bosley Cloud where the group enjoyed extensive views over the Cheshire countryside. We then descended to the Dane valley for lunch before a brief stop for refreshments at the Knott Inn in Rushton Spencer. The return walk over fields and quiet lanes included a visit to the Bridestones, the remains of a Neolithic burial chamber. See photos of the group on the summit of Bosley Cloud.
