Russell G. led a walk from The Bickerton Poacher pub along the Sandstone Way return. 14 members enjoyed a warm sunny day 7.5 easy miles. Some enjoyed a meal in the pub afterwards.

Phil W. led a Wednesday evening walk in central Manchester following historical events surrounding the Peterloo Massacre.

16th August 1819, a Demonstration
about many things including the Right to Vote 'turns violent'. 'Riot', 'Cavalry
attack innocent women and children', 'Second Battle of Waterloo'.
A Guided tour around the
sites of the places and surviving buildings where 'Peterloo' happened.
Meet at the 'Peterloo' memorial (it
is in front of GMEX) for a 7.30 pm start.
