Chris and Janet H. led a Wednesday evening walk from the car park off Turncroft lane between Woodbank and Vernon parks E. through woods skirtng S. bank of River Goyt, over the old Goyt walkway bridge W. Goyt Hall, Bredbury Hall, S. over the new Goyt bridge return. 25 SWOG members, some prospects, some Meet Ups enjoyed a mild evening. 90minutes 4 miles.
Steve H. led a walk from Rivington Barn 11 miles. Although the weather forecast was dire 5 members enjoyed a good day. (Photos and story info please?)
Helen B. led a Wednesday evening walk from the Car park opposite the Bowling Green pub at Chorlton SW. through the nature reserve, River Mersey, SE, Chorlton Water park, other side of river return. 3.5 miles. 17 members + 7 meetup adhered to Sport England covid rules. The weather threatened hail but thankfully did not.
Steve B. led a walk from Hartington village N to Pilsbury Castle, N to Crowdecote, W across river Dove S. to Sheen SSE back to Hartington. 8 miles a sunny day was warm in the valley and cold on the ridges. All went to an outside tea room afterwards.
