Talk PNFS 09/10/2019

At Hazel Grove Civic Hall 20:00hrs 09/10/2019, David Gosling from Peak and Northern Footpaths Society (PNFS) gave a talk with computer photo projector about the PNFS and their work.

Keswick weekend 04 to 07/10/2019

Chris S. organised a weekend at Low Briery Holiday village at Keswick 04 to 07/10/2019 some members of other walking groups came too 22 + a dog. We stayed in cottages and apartments. There were some road closures and footpath maintenance due to flooding which marred the weekend but generally folks were very pleased with the accommodation and the walks.
Friday 1pm some walked from Low Briery to Castle Rigg Stone Circle and then a circuit through Keswick stopping for shopping food and drink. That evening some ate in and out some went to cottage3 for wine.
Saturday 15 drove to Blencathra Centre and walked up Blencathra down Scales and the circled back. Others did easier walks. Wine at cottage3 again then some got take aways or ate out and in.
Sunday 14 did a circular walk from Braithwaite around Coledale .
Monday only a hardy few braved a very bad weather forcast.

At Hazel Grove Civic Hall 02/10/2019 20:00hrs. Cary gave a talk with computer photo projector about the 3rd part of  his bottom to the top walk. This talk was about from Peebles to John o Groats then Dunnet Head.
