 At 19.30hrs 30/09/2022 in Stockport Market Hall we watched the Band. Some ate and drank at local pubs. Then at 21.00 we went to the Petersgate Tap.

Walk Cracken Edge 25/09/2022

 Ron led a walk from Bugworth Basin NE. up onto Cracken edge E. down at Peep-o-day E. up to South Head SW. Shireoaks, W. Breakend, W. Chapel Milton, W. Brigeholm Green, W. Whitehough return 10 miles, 17 members, 1 prospect, 1 puppy set off. The puppy and owner soon left us. 2more members left us at Peep-o-day. All enjoyed a cool clear day.

 At 20.00hrs 23/09/20220 Phil W. hosted a pub night at the Station South pub on the A6 at Levenshulme.

This newly restored railway station building is proving a big hit. The photo is of it before restoration.

 At 20.00hrs 21/09/2022 at Hazel Grove Civic Hall, David Bell (a resident at Eyam ) gave an amusing talk about health conditions before and during the Eyam black death.

At Hazel Grove Civic Hall 20.00hrs. 14/09/2022. Phil W. gave a talk with computer photo projector about the architecture he had visited around the UK.  Afterwards some went to the Grapes pub.

Walk Marsden 11/09/2022

 John E. led a walk from Marsden Railway station to Greenfield return 14 miles. He suggested folks could escape at 8.5 miles from Greenfield station.  (No stories or photos yet.)

Walk Hathersage 04/09/2022

 Jan G. led a walk from Hathersage S. Upper Padley, NE. up Padley gorge N. Higger Tor SW Mitchel field W. return Hathersage. 20members + 1 dog enjoyed a warm day. Some cut the walk short . Some went into hostelries in Hathersage for refreshments.

Pub Night 02/09/2022

 19.30hrs 0209/2022  Jack arranged a Thai meal for 12 of us at the Art of Siam at Marple and then afterwards we went into the Traders pub at Marple.

Walk Torrs 01/09/2022

 John E. led a Thursday walk from The Torrs at New Mills over to Hayfield back along the Sett Valley trail. 10 members enjoyed a warm day. Some went into the Shrub club pub afterwards.
