John G. led a walk from Chinley railway station N. over Chinley Churn, Peep-o-day, cross A624, E. South Head, Shireoaks, SW. Breakhead, Bridgeholm Green, old tramway return. Some then went for a drink at Whitehough. 18 members and 1 well behaved dog enjoyed a warm day.

20.30hrs Friday 28/05/2021, Helen Claire Y. hosted a pub night at the Royal in Hayfield. Some folks arrived early and had a meal.
Gwyneth led a Thursday walk from Poynton Coppice, Lyme Park Hunting Lodge, Bow Stones, Gritstone trail, Middlewood way return. 9 members and 1 prospect enjoyed a warm sunny day. (photos to follow)
Jane L. led a Wednesday evening walk from Marple Bridge through Brabyns park along Marple canal, Peak Forest canal, over Strines road, over Roman Bridge, Roman Lakes return. 5 miles, 28 members enjoyed an easy walk. Thankfully the rain held off.
John E. and Jack led 2 linear walks from Greenfield railway station. John E. went up to Pots and Pans and zig-zagged moors to Marsden 11 miles. Jack went mostly along canal and then over the moors to other end of the canal tunnel 8 miles. Both groups then joined up in Marsden and returned by train. A windy cool day mostly dry until 5pm.

Walk Lymm 16/05/2021 Jane W. led a walk from Lymm to Dunham return. A warm sunny day19 members and 2 prospects enjoyed easy walking 8 miles
Steve H. led a cycle along the Middlewood Way. A few members got wet and very dirty (no photos or stories yet)
Chris and Janet H. led a Wednesday evening walk from the car park off Turncroft lane between Woodbank and Vernon parks E. through woods skirtng S. bank of River Goyt, over the old Goyt walkway bridge W. Goyt Hall, Bredbury Hall, S. over the new Goyt bridge return. 25 SWOG members, some prospects, some Meet Ups enjoyed a mild evening. 90minutes 4 miles.
Steve H. led a walk from Rivington Barn 11 miles. Although the weather forecast was dire 5 members enjoyed a good day. (Photos and story info please?)
Helen B. led a Wednesday evening walk from the Car park opposite the Bowling Green pub at Chorlton SW. through the nature reserve, River Mersey, SE, Chorlton Water park, other side of river return. 3.5 miles. 17 members + 7 meetup adhered to Sport England covid rules. The weather threatened hail but thankfully did not.
Steve B. led a walk from Hartington village N to Pilsbury Castle, N to Crowdecote, W across river Dove S. to Sheen SSE back to Hartington. 8 miles a sunny day was warm in the valley and cold on the ridges. All went to an outside tea room afterwards.
