Walk Birchover Bronze age 24/02/2019

Chris and Janet H. led a walk from Birchover, N, The Andle Stone, SW stone circle, retrace back to find the Cork stone, W, very poorly marked stone circle, N, Nine Ladies stone circle, SE, tower folly, SW, Lees Road, S, Barn farm, S, then, W, Hermits cave, Robin Hoods Stride, standing stones, Harthill Moor Farm Castle Ring, return to Birchover . Some went into the Druids pub after the walk.
18 members and 2 dogs enjoyed a warm sunny day.

Howard R. led a walk from Hazel Grove Park and Ride, N, through Torkington park, E, Clough House Farm, Windlehurst Hall, Strines, Brook Bottom, N, Roman Lakes, W, canal, Ring 'o' Bells pub, canal , S, High Lane,  W, back to Hazel Grove Park and Ride. A clear bur windy day . 11 members 13 miles.

Alison and Steve W. led a Thursday walk from Disley in and around Lyme Park. 16 members enjoyed a sunny and warm day , 7 miles. Some went to the White Horse pub at Disley after the walk.

Walk Dove Holes 03/02/2019

In a change to the published program Mark C. led a walk from Dove Holes. From the South end of the village NE, then E, around edges of  quarries to Pedicote Farm at Peak Forrest. NE to Mam Tor, W, along Rushup Edge, W, Slackhall, S, Bagshaw, S, Dove Holes. A cold clear day lots of fresh snow to start but clouding up later, later still we had some sleet then rain. 10 members, plus Dan from meetup  plus jess the dog 13.5 miles.
