Walk Coombs 25/03/2018

Mark & Jan led a walk from Coombs village 23 of us , S along Ridge Lane, S. through Coombs Head farm, SE. to Moss House farm, SSE. to the Trig point and high wooden cross on Corbar Hill, overlooking Buxton, N. light Wood, N. along Black Edge, E. Short Edge, E. Castle Naze earth Fort, E. Coombs village. 17 decided to have a meal at the Beehive pub. The weather was sunny and cool in the morning but became cloudy with a cold W. wind later.  9 miles.

Walk Brassington 11/03/2018

Cycle Llandudno W/E 09-11/03/2018

Heather and Chris S. helped to organize a Cycling Weekend in Llandudno. Most of the group stayed in the Travel Lodge. Friday we had a short cycle around town and the Great Orme and ate at Weatherspoons. Saturday saw the Hares and the Chasers head NE towards Prestatyn following national cycle route 5, returning the same way. Saturday night some ate out at a Greek , some at an Italian restaurant then a pub in town. Sunday the Hares and the Chasers headed  SW towards Llanfairfechan following national cycle route 5. The local weather was good for cycling, mild with only two short showers . Sadly the Hares suffered far too many punctures.
