Stalmelu wrote:- 17 Members turned out for the walk on Thursday 7th September, led by Allison W. The walk started at Chadkirk Country Estate and went along the canal and river towards Compstall, over Werneth Low and back through Etherow Country Park, Brabyns Park and Marple. We were lucky with the weather and noticed the first spots of rain as we drove out of the car park. We finished off the day with tea and homemade cake at the Brambling Close Cafe, which proved very popular.
