Walk Woodbank 29/06/2016
Claire Y. led a Wednesday evening walk from Woodbank community car park, through Woodbank park towards Woodlands park, across the Goyt river footbridge to see the 16th century farm. Then back over the river down stream path almost to Vernon park return. Afterwards some enjoyed the excellent beer at the Gardeners Arms pub on Offerton lane.

Walk Sandstone Trail 26/06/2016
Russell G. led a walk from Bickerton along bits of the Sandstone Trail to Beeston where we lunched at the pick-nick area below Beeston castle . We had views over the Cheshire plain often restricted by the forest. Then back to the Bickerton Poacher pub for refreshments. A fine day was had up to 3pm when the forecast rain duly came. 9 miles

Campbell was host to foodie Friday in Stockport Market place with 3 bands rotating via 7 miles out bar and open air. Later we moved to the Remedy micro brewery bar and enjoyed some real ale.

Walk Buxton > Whaley >Hazel Grove 19/06/2016
Chris S. led a linear walk from Buxton to Whaley Bridge 8 Miles. Lunch Then Whaley Bridge to Hazel Grove 8 Miles. Some went in the Wilfrid Wood VC pub after the walk.
Route:- Buxton Bishops Lane, Wildstonemoor path to east side of Errwood reservoir to East side of Fernilee reservoir to Taxal to dam wall of Todd Brook reservoir to The Moorside to Bowstones to Lyme hall to Higher Poynton canal marina to Princes Incline to Norbury Hollow to Hazel Grove.

Walk Lantern Pike 15/06/2016
Steve H. had a senior moment and forgot he was leading a Wednesday evening walk up Lantern Pike. Chris H. rang him while he was baby sitting!! Thanks to Chris H. who took up the job and led the walk. Some went in the George pub after the walk.
