Walk Bramhall park 29/07/2015

Campbell led 32 people on a walk from Great Moor to Bramhall Park return. We went through Woodsmoor along back lanes and passages to Bramhall Park then along the Ladybrook , Happy Valley. We did some road walking to the old Mirlees site where we had to navigate our way around a fenced off building site to access the old disused Mirlees 9 hole golf course area then back to Woodsmoor station. Afterwards many of us had a drink in the Dog and Partridge on the A6 at Great Moor.

Walk The Roaches 26/07/2015

Brian T. led a walk over the Roaches . We parked at Gradbach, visited Luds Church after which the high winds and rain spoiled the day. We touched the trig point on top of the Roaches after which we decided to retreat into the woods and cut the schedule to return.

Pub Night The Fingerpost 24/07/2015

Campbell hosted a pub night 20:30hrs at the Fingerpost pub at Hempshaw lane and Dialstone lane Stockport. Several people chose to arrive early and enjoy the food, the mixed kebabs got rave reviews, the optional hot dip sauce was too hot for some.

Saturday we walked on the Shropshire way then headed east to Bishops Castle beer festival.

Bike ride and Meal 04/07/2015

John G. led a bike ride from The Boars Head at Higher Poynton. (John forgot his front wheel?)
John said:
I would normally have cycled to the start but I had flowers and a present for Pam F. (her birthday) so I drove to the start.

After the cycle lots of members  joined us for the meal. The kitchen could not cope. I waited 1 1/4 hours for my main meal and no one had ordered starters.
