A departure from our usual Friday night pub meets due to the Friday Ceilidh.

Cock Hill from Padfield 08/02/2015

Ann D. changed the walk from the original program due to weather conditions.
So from Padfield on Sunday 08/02/2015, She led 12 of us, we walked along the Longdendale trail then SE along the Pennine Way onto Bleaklow Moor then W to Cock Hill then back into Padfield for a drink in The Peel pub. This was at times a very misty day and the snow ice and bogs made slow and tough going.

At 11am a temperature inversion caused the mist to drop to the valley floor, sadly this did not last long

Sportsman Hyde 06/02/2015

Les hosted a pub night Friday 06/02/2015 at the Sportsman at Hyde. 25 people turned up including some old, used to be SWOG members . Lots of history stories and memories. Lots of good priced real ale from Pennine brewery was enjoyed.
